It is with pleasure that we invite you to attend the XIth International Congress of Dermatology (ICD) of the International Society of Dermatology (ISD). It will be nearly twenty years since India last hosted the ICD. Since 1994, the number of dermatologists in India has tripled from 2,000 nationwide to over 6,000. Dermatology in India is facing polar demands from a modern, upwardly mobile India and from those still mired in poverty. And medical tourism is now a growth market attracting patients from developed countries. It’s a different world from 1994!
